Articulation
Articulation lives in the jaw, the tongue, the teeth, the lips.
It requires dexterity. Willingness. Space.
It can feel jarring. Exposed.
Just how direct communication often does.
Specificity asks us to stop speaking in subtext.
To stop scanning the room for assumed reactions,
to stop adjusting before we’ve even spoken.
Articulation is not aggression.
Articulation is clean sound.
It is the courage to say:
This is what I want.
This is what I feel.
This is what I need.
